Due to the global pandemic, businesses and organizations, large and small, had to reinvent the way they operate; Orleans United Church was no different. For the first time ever, they wanted to make the move to an online shop to have a temporary place for the community to shop for the holidays. Enlisting my help for design and build, we set up a Shopify e-commerce site to sell their goods.
A handmade holiday
Working with the identity I had already created to market the in-person bazaar, I designed and built a Shopify site where they could sell their handmade goods to people of Ottawa that look forward to attending this event every year. Their team of volunteers set up a curbside pick up system that they advertised online, and made signage for to direct the drivers.
Working with their team of volunteer crafters and photographers, I got all of their products up online to sell and they hit another milestone in sales for the event. This is just one of many success stories of shopping handmade, and shopping locally!
